Terms & Conditions

The varied and high quality facilities on offer at our premises are used both internally by us and externally by our Community members and other private hirers. The premises are available for hire every day throughout the year, subject to availability. All booking requests must be made in writing by email, and approval will be given by reply email to confirm the booking. Hiring timings are from 8:00am to 11:30pm, with the premises to be vacated latest by 11:00pm. We have a small Mandir in the Main Hall which will not be available for private hire use. For special religious functions like bhajans this may be possible subject to advance agreement.


Minimum hire time is five hours on any one day, and event setup and windup time is included in this. Any time overrun will be charged by the full hour and will be deducted from the deposit. Customised Terms and Conditions of your event hire will be provided for perusal if requested dates / timings of hire are available. These include fire regulations, first aid and insurance requirements which must be read carefully. Any floor markings or damage from Pithi and Mehendi events will be charged extra for special cleaning if required.


Depending on the event and number of guests, any particular hire requirements should be discussed well in advance to allow us to agree to facilitate as best possible. Note that we do not allow non-vegetarian food on site, regardless of how it may be prepared or served. NO alcohol is permitted in the Main Hall. Selling of alcohol is not permitted as we do not have a license and private licenses may not be used for the same. Alcohol may be served and consumed only in the Dining Hall as part of a private event, but this must be agreed in advance.


We have full CCTV facilities on the premises and these are used for all hire and internal events. Any access to information recorded on CCTV for an event must be received in writing. Access is within our locked Admin Office in the rear foyer.
